EA Play Pro costs $16.99 per month or $119.99 per year in the US as of October 2026, and it is only available on PC through the EA app. It gives you the premium editions of new EA games on launch day, the full EA Play vault, and a 10% discount on EA digital purchases. Consoles get the cheaper EA Play tier only, with no Pro option.
EA Play Pro vs EA Play vs Game Pass
The three memberships overlap but do different jobs. This table uses US pricing as of October 2026. Regional prices differ, and the EA app shows your local figure at checkout.
| Membership | Monthly | Annual | Platforms | New EA releases | Older EA catalogue |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EA Play Pro | $16.99 | $119.99 | PC (EA app) | Full premium edition at launch | Yes, unlimited |
| EA Play | $5.99 | $39.99 | PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox | 10-hour trial only | Yes, unlimited |
| PC Game Pass | $16.49 | Not offered | PC (Xbox app) | 10-hour trial via EA Play | Yes, via EA Play |
| Game Pass Ultimate | $29.99 | Not offered | Xbox, PC, cloud | 10-hour trial via EA Play | Yes, via EA Play |
The key gap is new games. Only EA Play Pro lets you play a full EA release on launch day without buying it. Every other tier limits you to a timed trial until that game drops into the vault months or years later.
What you get with EA Play Pro
Pro is the top tier of EA’s subscription. Everything in standard EA Play is included, plus four extras.
Full new releases at launch. When EA ships a game, Pro members on PC get the complete version the day it goes live. There is no 10-hour cap and no waiting period.
Premium editions, not base editions. Pro grants the top edition of annual sports titles and major releases. For EA Sports FC 26 that meant the Ultimate Edition. For Battlefield 6 it meant the Phantom Edition, which retails at $99.99 on its own.
Pro-exclusive content. Each season of a sports title ships with member-only cosmetics, packs or in-game currency. These rotate and are listed inside the EA app under the Pro Rewards tab.
10% discount on EA digital. The discount applies to EA app purchases, including FC Points, Madden Points, Sims packs and DLC. Standard EA Play members get the same 10%, so this is not a Pro upgrade on its own.
Early access trials and the vault round out the package. Pro members still get the vault of older titles that standard EA Play offers, with unlimited playtime.
Games included in EA Play Pro

The Pro catalogue is a moving list. The current-year sports entries come in at launch and remain when the next year’s edition arrives, so the collection grows rather than swaps. These titles were in the Pro library on PC as of October 2026.
Sports
- EA Sports FC 26 (Ultimate Edition content)
- Madden NFL 26
- F1 25
- EA Sports WRC
- UFC 5 is console only and does not appear on PC
Shooters and action
- Battlefield 6 (Phantom Edition content)
- Battlefield 2042
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
- Dead Space (2023)
- Immortals of Aveum
- Wild Hearts
RPG, co-op and simulation
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Split Fiction
- It Takes Two
- Need for Speed Unbound
- The Sims 4 base game plus a rotating set of expansion and game packs
The Sims 4 deserves a note. The base game is free for everyone, so Pro’s value there sits in the packs. EA adds and removes Sims packs from the member list periodically, and the current set is visible under the game’s page in the EA app.
College Football is the notable absence. EA Sports College Football 26 shipped on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only, so it is not in any PC subscription, Pro included.
Monthly or annual: the maths
Twelve months of EA Play Pro at $16.99 comes to $203.88. The annual plan is $119.99. That is a saving of $83.89, or roughly 41%, if you stay subscribed all year.
The annual plan only wins if you keep playing. A common pattern is to subscribe monthly around a major launch, play the premium edition for a month or two, then cancel. Two months of Pro at $33.98 is cheaper than the $69.99 standard edition of Battlefield 6 or FC 26, and far cheaper than their $99.99 premium editions.
Rough rule: if you expect to touch two or more new EA games across the year, the annual plan pays for itself. If you only care about one football or one shooter season, pay monthly and cancel.
Good to know
Progress in Pro games is saved to your EA account, not the subscription. If you cancel and later buy FC 26 outright, your Ultimate Team club and career saves carry over.
Platform limits you should know

EA Play Pro runs through the EA app on Windows. That creates a few hard limits.
- No console Pro tier. PlayStation and Xbox owners can only buy standard EA Play. The Xbox store lists EA Play but no Pro option.
- No Steam access. Owning Pro does not unlock the Steam versions of EA games. You launch everything through the EA app.
- No Game Pass bundling. Game Pass includes standard EA Play, not Pro. Paying for Game Pass Ultimate still leaves you with 10-hour trials on new EA titles.
- Crossplay still works. Playing FC 26 or Battlefield 6 through Pro on PC does not affect cross-platform gaming. You match with console players the same as a purchased copy.
One related point for shooter fans: the call of duty price question has a different answer, because Activision titles sit in Game Pass rather than EA Play. No EA membership includes Call of Duty.
How to subscribe to EA Play Pro
Sign-up happens inside the EA app, not on a web store.
How to subscribe
- Open the EA app on Windows and sign in.
- Select EA Play from the left menu.
- Choose EA Play Pro and pick monthly or annual.
- Add a payment method and confirm.
- Pro games appear in your library immediately.
Upgrading from standard EA Play to Pro is handled on the same screen. EA prorates the switch, so you are not charged a full Pro month on top of a standard month already paid.
Cancelling and billing

Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel from the EA Play section of the app, or from the Subscriptions page of your EA account on the web. After cancelling, access continues until the current paid period ends.
When a membership lapses, Pro games vanish from your library on PC. Saves stay on your account, and any 10% discount purchases you made remain yours.
Payment methods accepted in the EA app include major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and EA gift cards where available in your region. Prepaid EA Play Pro codes exist for some territories but are sold through select retailers rather than directly by EA.
Price history
Pro’s current price dates to an increase that took effect on May 10, 2024. Before that change it cost $14.99 per month and $99.99 per year in the US. The same round of increases moved standard EA Play from $4.99 to $5.99 monthly and from $29.99 to $39.99 annually.
That history matters because EA has raised prices once already. Treat the figures here as accurate for October 2026 and confirm the current rate in the EA app before an annual purchase.

Does Xbox Game Pass include EA Play Pro?
No. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include standard EA Play only. There is no way to get Pro through Game Pass.

How much does EA Play Pro cost per year?
